Award winning truck in partnership with CTEK

CTEK is delighted to announce that our good friend John Wargo of the Custom Shop, in Flanagan Illinois, was recently awarded Custom Truck Of The Year 2022 at C10 nationals, with a truck originally built for the 2021 SEMA Show. The Custom Shop uses CTEK products in the building of their trucks.  

This award-winning build is a C/Tanium 1968 Chevy C10 and it really is a special custom-build that features a stunning hood scoop, covered with specially made copper weave carbon fiber. The team painted the truck with a Rolls Royce Titanium Pearl from the Custom Shop and added dry pear for the final touch, with John’s signature Ghost Graphics.  To retain the Corvette theme, John also had side scoops, that are molded into the bed. The truck has Schotts custom wheels and Toyo Tires with Wilwood brakes and the custom interior is wrapped in apex leather. 

There is an ES Audio System and a lot of custom one-off parts, like ground effects and the hood we mentioned earlier, everything is motorized as well, like tailgate, inner bed floor and the rear spoiler.  

John Wargo worked hard on this 2021 SEMA build and it paid off, the truck is now officially the Custom Truck Of The Year 2022. John – congratulations from everybody here at CTEK – we are proud to be a partner!
